Yummy!!! This sounds better than smoothie king! I don't care for the sugary fruit flavored syrups they use in their smoothies...the fresh fruit with frozen fruit mixed in to replace the ice sounds really good! I'm inspired!

I had a problem with my back and my left leg for months and I thought that it was just tight muscles...piriformis syndrome is what I was told... I finally was able to get an MRI and it showed that I actually had two herniated discs: L4 and L5. This is great info for those of you who have been diagnosed with tigt muscle and just give muscle relaxers to basically pacify you beware! You should get a sec opinion for sure. This doc seems to know whats really going on...Thanks for educating us doc!

Erik,
Good question. First, no matter what type of race you decide to run for your first, the key to a successful injury-free race is proper training. Increase duration and intensity incrementally over 4-6 months before your first race. Now, about the relay. The Ragner relay has great options for beginning runners. With any relay, the important thing is to get excited and enjoy being part of your team. The danger with relays is to start off to fast and not have energy to run additional legs of the race.
Keep Running!

I am new to running. Is a relay a good choice for a first race? Some say i should start out with a 5K. I like the relay concept. It looks like fun.

It looks like you had a blast running the relay. Thanks for sharing the video. Oh, by the way, the Frogger theme is awesome. Love all the vibrant green!
